We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, experienced in building frontend applications using Remix, React, and Next.js. The role involves developing and maintaining frontends for Shopify and BigCommerce apps as well as standalone web applications. Strong skills in deploying and managing frontend applications on AWS are required to ensure scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain user interfaces for Shopify and BigCommerce app frontends and standalone web applications.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance React-based applications with Remix and Next.js.
- Manage ongoing maintenance, including bug fixes, security patches, performance tuning, and dependency upgrades for standalone apps and e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure seamless AWS deployment and hosting of frontend assets, leveraging S3, CloudFront, Amplify, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and scalable user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of frontend development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Remix, React, Next.js frameworks.
- Proven track record building and maintaining Shopify and BigCommerce app frontends, along with standalone web apps.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services for frontend deployment and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD setup.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks and serverless AWS architectures.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring frontend teams.
