We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance framework of our leading SAAS platform. As a pivotal role within our technology team, you will lead the QA processes, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from an application developer to a QA-focused role and is passionate about blending development skills with QA expertise to lead and innovate in test automation. With your deep understanding of both manual and automated testing, you will spearhead the development of testing strategies that will significantly contribute to the success of our SAAS platform.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in manual testing and automation testing, particularly with Selenium, and well-versed in Python.
- Familiarity with other popular automation testing frameworks and tools.
- Ability to read and translate functional requirements into comprehensive test cases.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining test cases and automation test scripts.
- Proficiency in writing quality scripts for testing automation and execution, utilizing tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong experience in using bug tracking tools to report bugs effectively.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies, including both Agile QA methodology and traditional SDLC.
- Demonstrated experience with defect management processes and tools.
- Must have significant test automation experience for web-based platforms, with a preference for those with experience in the e-commerce domain.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and proactively raise issues or concerns.
- Strong capability in working with QA resources spread across different geographies, managing day-to-day issues, and setting priorities.
- Effective collaboration skills to work closely with QA, development teams, and other stakeholders for the smooth execution of projects.
- Quick learner, able to adapt to changes and new technologies swiftly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or a related field from a recognized university in India. Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least a portion of this experience in an application development role before transitioning to QA.
- A solid foundation in QA methodologies and experience in leading QA processes in a SAAS platform environment.
